CDM Regulations 2015

The Construction Design Management Regulations are now relevant to all domestic projects, with duties to be undertaken by the Principal Designer, who must plan, manage and co-ordinate matters relating to health and safety during the pre-construction phase to ensure that as far as is reasonably practicable, the project is carried out without risks to health and safety.
I am able to undertake the required duties to act as Principal Designer in compliance with the CDM Regulations 2015.
My membership of the Association of Project Safety, since 1996, requiring CPD competency with pass achievement standards of examinations, to continue membership for amendments to the regulations set in both 2007 and 2015.
The above photograph indicating an installation by an operative with ‘potential’ major risks to his health & safety, demonstrates the need for the regulations, being introduced for domestic projects.
